1. We do provide a complimentary and free patient inquiry service called "Ask the Foot Doctor" wherein we have set up an Internet Web Site to receive incoming inquiries from anyone free of charge. Our webmaster, Robert Wunderlich, D.P.M., downloads and answers the patients questions at no charge.

2. We do provide a complimentary and free patient referral service for all of our incoming patients to DPMs who are members of the Foot & Ankle PPO (preferred provider organization). We research the closest DPM, and then email back to the patient the referred DPM's name, address, phone, etc. This, again, is at no cost.

3. We do provide a fee-based web site establishment, maintenance and access capability service to any DPM who would like their practice on our web site. The current introductory discounted fee is $49.50 per month for the first 3 months (half that for professors, residents, faculty members, military DPMs, etc.) which is MUCH less than maintaining a web site on a server by yourself. For this fee, we not only establish, maintain and refer patients to doctors, we also execute extensive marketing with press releases to over 825 trade and professional magazines monthly about our free web site offerings, direct mail our web service to the 18,695 DPMs nationally, and build future web site developments such as CME, and expanded podiatry product catalog offerings. Our site is fresh, interactive and continually upgraded in service and offering. It is also linked to 25 other search engines (including Yahoo!), does enjoy excellent traffic, and most definitely will grow in "hits" beyond the hundreds per week we are currently surpassing. On 5/16/96, the Foot & Ankle Web Site was rated among the top 5% of the WWW by Point Communications

4. For a nominal fee of $29.95 for 6 months, DPMs may list their practice name, address, phone number, FAX, email address, education, boards, and license information on our web site

The bottom line is that we do grow the awareness level of patients about podiatry and foot problems as well as educate them in a free and friendly way on how to seek medical solutions for their ailments. We also provide these patients directly to our registered DPMs to grow their practices and business. With our national marketing communications, we are building traffic to our site which enhances the profession immensely.

We have invested our time, people and resources to build the very best site for the potential patients and to reward the registered DPMs with real-live business. The site does require staff support to continue to be interactive, responsive, and fresh.

This certainly is not a bulletin board service as well. This site starts with the patients who are cared for by the podiatrists with the free referral service.
